Biography

Ian’s edits are a product of 10+ years of professional work in Los Angeles, California. He’s partnered with award winning teams earning a credited Clio Key Art Award, Addy Award, and Vimeo Staff Pick. Ian is also a roster member of the Local 700 – Motion Picture Editors Guild.

Originally from the Midwest, with an Ohio University Media Arts and Science degree, Ian has long had a passion for entertaining audiences and now a wealth of professional experience with notable clients. His industry tools include Adobe Creative Suite, Avid, FCP X, FCP7.

Ian lives in Santa Monica, California working as a freelance editor. You can find him in productions studios, advertising agencies, or home office. He also travels on location with clients all over the world. He's experienced with telling stories, action sports, advertising, documentary short films.

Ian is also an avid surfer, snowboarder, and photographer.
